For the past 3 years, John and I have spent New Year's Eve with my dear friend, Christy (Grubbs) Kissick. We have been big buds since freshman or sophmore year of high school! She moved away to Centerville, Virginia and doesn't get to come home a lot. But, every year, she's home for Christmas and every New Year's Eve, we go to her aunt Connie's house to have finger foods and play games until midnight! It's always SO MUCH FUN!
This year, Christy and I made some strawberry cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese icing to take and I brought some Texas caviar salsa!
We played Scattergories and laughed and we weren't even tired. It's amazing how you can lose track of time when you're having fun!
Me and Christy are really good at acting goofy with one another. Contrary to what the photos may insinuate based on our sillyness, there was NO alcohol involved! Only Milo's Sweet Tea!
Even John made a little silly face (yes, more like a slighly goofy smile but he was actually trying to make a silly face....bless him...he's such a cutie though! :)
